子平真诠评注 - Ziping Zhenquan Pingzhu (ZPZQPZ) or Annotations of Commentary on Ziping:

丙火猛烈，欺霜侮雪；

The fiery strength of the Bing fire (like the brilliance of the sun) , bully the forst and insult the snow,
能煅庚金，从辛反怯；

Able to forge Geng metal, however meeting metal becomes timid,

土众生慈，水猖显节；

Becomes compassionate with earth, with abundant water, becomes ferocious and will not yield (surrender).
虎马犬乡，甲来成灭。

In the village of Tiger (Yin) and Horse (Wu), Jia becomes exterminated/wiped out.

(Comment: Bing fire with fire formation such as Yin Wu Xu or Si Wu Wei in the EB. The fiery fire will exterminate any Jia wood in the chart.

五阳皆阳丙为最。

For the five Yang, Bing fire is the most Yang.

丙者，太阳之精，纯阳之性，

Bing fire, the essence of the sun, pure yang character, 欺霜侮雪，不畏水克也。

Bully the cold and insult the snow, not afraid of control from water.

庚金虽顽，力能煅之；

Although Geng metal is stubborn, Bing has the power to forge the metal;

辛金虽柔，合而反弱。

Although Xin metal is soft, due to combination will weaken the fire Qi.

见壬水，则阳遇阳而成对峙之势；

Meeting Ren water, yang meeting yang, represent confrontational situation.

见癸水，则如霜雪之见日，故不畏水克，而愈见其刚强之性。

Meeting Gui water, like frost/snaow during the day, not being afraid of water, will actually express its strength.

见土则火烈土燥，生机尽灭。

Meeting earth when fire is strong will dry the earth, resulting in extinguishing/exhausting the vitality of the life force.

土能晦火，见己土犹可，而见戊土尤忌。

Earth can diminish the fire, meeting Ji earth is still acceptable, but meeting Wu earth is very inauspicious.

生慈者，失其威猛之性也。

Becomes compassionate when producing earth, losing its fierce/powerful character.

显节者，显其阳刚之节也。

Becomes ferocious and will not yield/surrender, expressing its masculine feature . (When it encounter abundant water- head on confrontation)

虎马犬乡者，寅午戌也。

Tiger and horse village, meaning Yin Wu Xu.

支全寅午戌，而又透甲，火旺而无节，不戢自焚也。

EB with Yin Wu Xu, with Jia protruding, prosperous fire with no control, the Jia wood can be exterminated.

丙火喜用提要

寅月

壬水为用，庚金发水之源为佐。

Yin month. Ren water is usable. Geng metal as the source of Gui water to assist.

卯月

专用壬水，水多用戊制之，身弱用印化之。

Mao month.

Concentrate on Ren water, use Wu earth to control if there is too much water, for weak DM use resource to transform.

辰月

专用壬水，土重以甲为佐。

Chen month.

Concentrate on using Ren water. With heavy earth, use Jia wood to assist.

巳月

以庚为佐，忌戊制壬。

Si month.

Use Geng metal to assist, inauspicious to have Wu earth to control Ren water.

午月

壬庚以通根申宫为妙。

Wu month.

With Ren water and Geng metal which is rooted in Shen EB is wonderful.

未月

以庚为佐。

Wei month.

Use Geng metal to assist.

申月

壬水通根申宫，壬多必取戊制。

Shen month.

Ren water which is rooted in Shen, with prosperous Ren must have Wu earth to control.

酉月

四柱多丙，一壬高透为奇。无壬为癸。

You month.

With many Bin gin the four pillars, it is auspicious to have one Ren which protrude in the HS. Without Ren use Gui water instead.

戌月

忌土晦光，先取甲疏土，次用壬水。

Xu month.

Inauspicious for the earth to diminish the fire, first obtain Jia wood to loosen/diminish the earth, next use Ren water. (to also diminish/control the earth)

亥月 月垣壬水秉令，水旺用甲木化之。身杀两旺，用戊制之。火旺用壬，木旺宜庚。

Hai month.

Ren water being the month commander, due to prosperous water, use Jia to assist. For strong DM with strong 7K, use Wu earth to control. When fire is prosperous use Ren to control. When wood is prosperous use Geng to control.

子月 气近二阳，丙火弱中复强，故用壬水，取戊制之，无戊用己。

Zi month.

Qi is close to 2 Yang, Bing fire is weak becoming strong, as a result use Ren water, next obtain Wu earth to control, without Wu earth use Ji earth.

丑月

喜壬为用，土多不可少甲。

Chou month.

Auspicious to use Ren water, with prosperous earth, must have Jia wood to control.
