HO Shen Sha

伤坐天月德，子女贤孝，坐吉神贵人，子息富贵。

Hurting Officer on TianDe GuiRen or YueDe GuiRen, have filial children, on 吉JiShen (favorable) GuiRen, children will be rich and noble.

HO Shen Sha

伤官空亡，易有口舌是非（伤管官，但空亡，为没有能力还要管人家，故易惹是非。）。

Hurting Officer with Kong Wang, can easily fall into unnecessary problem caused by gossips. (Hurting officer represent giving instruction, when Kong Wang is present, the HO has no power and yet wants to give instruction therefore causing quarrel or dispute.)

Pillar Year

年柱伤官, 祖业飘零。

Hurting Officer at Year pillar, will cause the ancestral business to turn to zero.

年干支皆伤官, 寿短或富不长, 颜面易伤。

Hurting Officer at Year HS/EB, short life and easily injured.

伤官在年柱（不论喜忌），一般祖业漂零（官主名、克名）。

月柱伤官, 手足缘薄, 不敬父母。

伤官在月柱，有手足失和之象；

Pillar Day

日支伤官, 克子, 子宜迟。

Hurting Officer at Day Pillar, restrain (ke) son, son slow in development.

日支伤官, 克夫。

Hurting Officer at Day Pillar, restrain (ke) husband.

伤官在日支，男命伤子，女命克夫（伤官在夫宫，夫星无法切入，表现的象为即使结了婚，丈夫也有不是丈夫的感觉，感到很难做，适应不了）。

Hurting Officer at time pillar, for male - cause hurt to the children,

For female - cause hurt to the husband. When the Hurting Officer is in the Day EB which is the spouse palace, the spouse is not able to enter the palace, denoting that even if married, the marriage is not smooth.

Hurting Officer at Time Pillar, ke/control children, they can cause damages to kids.

伤官在时柱，子女缘薄（伤官主凶顽），故子女淘气，女晚坚守凄凉（晚年克夫）。

伤为在年、月、日、时之一者，六亲多有不全之憾。

HO being unfavorable (忌 Ji Shen) either a in the year, month day or hour indicate an incomplete family.

伤官在时柱,

Hurting Officer at time pillar,

子女缘薄,伤官主凶顽.

represent peoples who have no happiness in family,

女命晚年克夫。

and for female there is a tendency for the spouse to meet with disaster at a later age.

三命通会

伤官者，我生彼之谓，乃甲见丁、乙见丙之类，甲用辛为官，丁火乘旺，盗我之气，克制辛金，使不辅甲为贵，故名伤官。

Hurting Officer DM, represent something the DM create, as in Jia meeting Ding, Yi meeting Bing, Jia using Xin as Officer, Ding fire when strong, steal the Qi, ke/control Xin metal, does not assist the Jia to be noble, that’s why it is called Hurting Officer.

伤官格务要伤尽，方作贵看，元有官星，伤之则重。

Hurting officer need to go to the extreme in order to look good, however if there is other star officers inside, it will cause hurt to itself instead.

经云：“伤官见官，祸患百端”是也。

Saying goes,” when hurting officer meets officer, disasters came along.

伤官虽凶，乃我所生，自家之物，伤尽则能生财，财旺则能生官，造化展转有情。

Although hurting officer is not good, but it is ‘I born’, from the person itself, hence if it will create wealth when it hurt to the extreme, while strong prosper wealth will creates power, hence the fortune will turn from bad to good.

如月令在伤官，四柱作合结局，皆在伤位，无冲无破，不见一点官星，谓之伤尽。

If ‘month order’ falls in hurting officer, and 4 pillar combine to a match , and all falls on the hurting part, there is no conflict or treat, no star officers seen, this is so-called ‘ extreme hurt’.

又有月支伤官，时上伤官，四柱无官星，亦谓伤尽。

If there is ‘month extension’ hurting officer, ‘time up’ hurting officer, no star officer in 4 pillar, these are all consider as extreme hurt too.

更身旺、财旺或印旺，名标金榜，一品贵人。

Hence leading to prosperous in body, wealth or power, status.

此格主多材艺，傲物气高，心险无忌惮，多谋少遂，弄巧成拙，常以天下之人不如己，而人亦惮之恶之。

People with ‘hurting officer’ are more talented, ego, cunning, lots idea but less action, often worsen situations, often think they are the best.

伤官无财主贫穷，盖生财气者即食神伤官，盗财气者即七煞官星，所以伤官要见财，不要见官。

Hurting officer with no wealth, represent poverty, ‘eating god’ and hurting officer’ is for wealth, but ‘7 sha’ is against wealth, hence hurting officer need to see wealth but not officer.

假如甲生午月，木不南奔，身势太柔，岂可再逢金制？金能盗土之气，所以不要见官。

If weak wood meet a sharp metal, the metal can replace itself by stealing the ‘qi’ from earth, hence it shall not meet any ‘officer’.

既无官星，而柱却无一点财可恃，虽聪明机巧，不过虚名虚利

With no star officer, and pillar has no wealth as well, these HO people will not have power or wealth although they are smart.

经云“伤官无财可倚，虽巧必贫”是也。

Saying goes,’ hurting officer with no wealth star to support, will remain poor though smart.’

伤官格用财，亦有用印者。

Hurting officer can either use ‘wealth’ or ‘resources’.

《天玄赋》云：伤官用印宜去财，用财宜去印，倘使财印两全，将何发福？身旺者用财，身弱者用印，用印者须去财方能发福，用财者不论印亦主亨通，伤官用印，不忌官煞，去财方发，元犯伤官，须要见财则发。

《天玄赋》says: hurting officer that uses ‘resources’ can eliminate ‘wealth’, while those uses ‘wealth’ can eliminate ‘resources’, if wealth and resources both together, they have no chance to prosper. Those who are prosper use ‘wealth’, and those instead will use ‘resources’. For those who use ‘resources’, they need to eliminate ’wealth’ in order to prosper, and vice versa. Hurting officers that uses ‘resources’ does not need to avoid ‘officer’, and they need to eliminate ‘wealth’ in order to prosper.

伤官最喜行财运，印绶身旺次之，不喜行官乡，四柱伤官多而见官者，不宜复行伤运，一位无妨。

Hurting officer favors the wealth fortune but not the ‘officer’, as having too many ‘officer’ in the 4 pillar is not good for them, especially if they meet ‘officers’ again. Having one ‘officer’ is no harm.

又曰：伤官格务要伤尽，若柱见伤官，而官星隐显，伤之不尽，岁运再见官星，官来乘旺，再见刑冲破害，刃煞克身，身弱财旺，必主徒流死亡，五行有救，亦残疾。

Also says: hurting officer must hurt to the extreme. If hurting officer exist in pillar, and the star officer is invisible, the hurt is not extreme enough. While the star officer was seen in ‘age fortune’, this will cause disasters. Even if the 5 elements help, it does not help much too.

若四柱无官而遇伤煞重者，运入官乡，岁君又遇，若不目疾，必主灾破。

If 4 pillar has no officer but ‘killing hurt’ is strong, the officer shall comes in, and this will break the disaster.

经云：五行伤官，惟火人土伤官，土人金伤官忌见官星，若金人水，水人木，木人火，不忌。

Ching says: 5 element and hurting officer, only fire earth ‘hurting officer’ and earth metal ‘hurting officer’ cannot meet star officer. It is fine for metal water, water wood, and wood fire.

盖火以水为官，以土为伤，水畏土克，土得水无益；土以木为官，以金为伤，木畏金克，金得木无益，所以火土伤官格忌见官星。

Fire use water as officer, but earth as ‘hurt’, water afraid ‘ke’ from earth, while earth having water does not benefit anything. Earth use wood as officer, use metal as hurt, wood afraid of ‘ke’ from metal, and metal has no benefit to have wood. Hence fire earth hurting officer should avoid meeting star officer.

金以水为伤，以火为官，水虽克火，若金寒水冷，不得火温，难以济物，况水得火成既济之功；

Metal use water as hurt, use fire as officer, although water’ ke’ fire, but if metal and water exist while both belongs to cold, and there is no fire to warm up, it wont do any harm. Moreover, water gets fire aid the least harm.

水以木为伤，以土为官，木虽克土，若水泛木浮，不得土止，难以存活，况木得土成栽培之力；

Water use wood as hurt, use earth as officer. Although wood ‘ke’ earth, if water flooded and wood float, and there is no earth to stop, the wood gets earth will get development power.

木以火为伤，以金为官，火虽克金，若木繁火息，不得金削脱，难以通明，况金得火成器物之象，所以金水木伤官格不忌官星。

Wood use fire as hurt, use metal as officer. Although fire ‘ke’ metal, and if wood is a lot but fire is dead, and there is no metal to control it, the ‘ke’ wont happen. Hence metal, water, and wood hurting officer does not avoid star officer.

故经云：“伤官火土宜伤尽，金水伤官要见官，木火见官官要旺，土金官去反成官，惟有水木伤官格，财官两见始为欢”是也。

Ching says” Hurting officer with Fire earth should hurt to the extreme, gold water hurting officer should meet officer, and wood fire meeting officer must have strong officer.

又曰：伤官伤尽，亦有不作福者，伤官见官，亦有不作祸者。

Again says: there are cases where hurting officer hurt to extreme but does not make fortune, and there are also hurting officer who meet officer but does not meet disasters.

如一命丁未、丁未、丙午、丙午，丙日坐午，日主自旺，有二午、二丁、二未，财官俱伤，虽伤官伤尽，奈四柱火气太旺，窃气又重，运行东南火旺之乡，无一点财气，身空旺无倚，至贫之人，切不可见伤官伤尽身旺，便作好命看。

又如甲日生人，柱有辛为官，又有丁伤官，若生秋月官旺，虽逢丁火或居亥、子之上，或见午伏壬、癸之下，则丁不能伤官，终为有官爵之命，岁运遇煞官印绶，俱吉，忌身衰败运，切不可见伤官格有官星，便不作好命看。

又曰：人命原有些小伤官，不能损贵气，或运入官乡，官自旺强健，或入印运制伏伤煞，或有财生助，或从化入于别格，不失为好命，怕再行伤地，病而不起者有之，否则文书口舌，官事破败，殃祸踵至。

柱元有财，又行财运，亦可成就功名利禄，一行官煞地，或财衰败死绝地，即失财禄，非官讼则丧服重并。

又曰：四柱伤官，惟年干伤官最重，谓之福基受伤，终身不可除去，若月支更有，甚于伤身七煞。

如甲日人，以辛为官，见丁卯年，生寅午戌月，是伤官重犯，又有卯为劫刃，名背禄逐马，主为人退悔，反伤祖荫，运行官乡，流年再见，或煞旺身弱运，必祸。

若月令真正伤官，又见官星，如甲日生午月，见辛未时，午中丁火伤辛；乙日生巳月，见庚或甲申时，巳中丙火伤庚；丙日午月，见戊子、癸巳时，午中己土伤癸之例。

大要日主健旺，再临伤官运，可发名利，日主微弱，运历财官乡，祸不可言。

又曰：伤官，如甲日见丁，喜壬合癸破；乙见丙，喜辛合壬破；丙见己，喜甲合乙破；丁见戊，喜癸合甲破；戊见辛，喜丙合丁破；己见庚，喜乙合丙破；庚见癸，喜戊合己破；癸见甲，喜己合庚破。

《万祺》says: hurting officer has no star officer,

伤官若带财见印，祸不轻。

Hurting officer that carry wealth and meet stamp, disaster is fatal.

伤官若带印，不宜逢财，伤官若带官，不宜行制伏，伤官用财，不宜行此劫，伤官用印，不忌见官煞，伤官若见官星重叠，莫作官星论。

Hurting officer whom carry ‘resources’, should avoid meeting wealth. Hurting officer with officer, should not be controlled. Hurting officer that use wealth, should not do bad stuff. Hurting officer that use stamp, does not need to avoid seeing officer. Hurting officer seeing stake star officers, should not involve in star officer debate.

伤官用官，在年月必要剥官，运在日时，不宜被伤，一见被伤，祸不可言，不可临墓，住寿难延。

Hurting officer using officer, with their fortune at day time, they should not be hurt. For if they are hurt, they will meet disasters.

《千里马》云：伤官见官，妙入印财之地。又云：伤官逢财而有子。

《千里马》says: when hurting officer met officer, they are like getting into wealth location. It also means hurting officer that meet wealth will have kids.

《相心赋》云：伤官伤尽，多艺多能，使心机而傲物气高，多谲诈而侮人志大，颧高骨峻，眼大眉粗。

《相心赋》says: hurting officer to extreme, has multiple talents and abilities, thus causing egoism and tend to get other peoples into troubles. These peoples have big eyes and thick eyebrow.

《景鉴》云：伤官无财而带刃，行奸弄巧。

《景鉴》says: hurting officer with no wealth but carrying knife, tend to involve in cunning affairs.

《通明赋》云：重见伤官，身必辛勤劳苦。

《通明赋》says: heavy hurting officer, will have tough and hardworking body.

又云：伤官多而身旺无依，定为僧道艺术为士。

also says: peoples with lots of hurting officers and lack of dependency, will tend to be involve in monk arts.

秘诀云：伤官太重，子必有亏。

秘诀 says: heavy hurting officer will cause harm to kids.

又云：年带伤官，父母不全，月带伤官，兄弟不完，时整伤官，子息凶顽，日带伤官，妻妾不贤。

Also says: people carrying hurting officer in year, will have incomplete parents, with hurting officer in month will have troubled siblings,hurting officer in time will have naughty and rebellious kids, while those carrying hurting officer in day, will have disobedience wives.

又云：伤官不尽，须防不测之灾，伤官逢财，乃享优游之福，七煞同来，疾损须忧，身旺无依，孤克难免，伤官遇劫，聚财如柳絮随风，伤官无印，求利似荷钱擎雨。

Also says: those with hurting officer should prevent unforeseen disasters. Hurting officer that meets wealth, are those enjoying good happiness and wealthiness. If ‘7 sha’ come together, these people shall take precaution about sickness attack. Hurting officer whom met calamity, will accumulate wealth easily.

古歌云：伤官原是产业神，伤尽真为大贵人，若是伤官伤不尽，官来乘旺祸非轻。又：月令逢官在伤乡，伤轻减力尚无妨，若见刑冲并破害，定知为官不久长。

The old saying goes: people with hurting officer are property expert, it is good if the hurt is extreme, but if no extreme hurt, the disaster is fatal.

又：伤官伤尽复生财，财旺生官互换来，四柱若无官显露，便言富贵莫疑猜。

Also: extreme hurt in hurting officer will create wealth and ‘officer’ in their fortune, and if there is no sign of ‘officer’ in their 4 pillar, there will be less hope in wealthiness.

又：伤官遇者本非宜，财有官无是福基，时日月伤官格局，运行财旺贵无疑。

又：伤官伤尽始为奇，又恐伤多反不宜，此格局中千变化，详推须要用心机。

Hurting officer with extreme hurt will cause curiosity at first, as it makes people worry that the extreme hurt could be not beneficial. This arrangement changes all the time, and it needs time and energy to analyze it properly.

又：伤官无官最忌剥，运入官乡反见奇，岁运命中逢印绶，诚为富贵定无疑。

Hurting officer cant go without no officer, but as it changes slowly when the officer moves in, the chances of getting welathiness is higher.

又：伤官不忌比肩逢，七煞偏官理亦同，若是无官当忌比，如逢身旺却嫌重。

Hurting officer does not afraid of comparison and it goes the same for ‘7 sha’ and ‘side officer’. If there is no officer, the person will not appreciates the wealth though they own them.

又：伤官不尽又逢官，斩绞徒流祸百端，月犯父子无全美，日犯自己

主伤残；时伤子息多狼狈，须知富贵不周全，若是伤官居太岁，

必招横祸逢斯年。合诸说观之，伤官喜忌尽矣。

Hurting officer with incomplete hurt but met officer, they will meet obstacles everywhere.
