Good Bad
墓气从地，宅气从门，
门旺路吉，出入亨通，
财丁两盛，其乐融融，
门旺宅衰，亦不为凶。

Comment:
House weak 宅衰 – the
sitting/facing of the house and the way the earth Qi 墓气从地 affects
the house. The key point here is regarding the importance of the door of the house
which is the way the house receive the house Qi as
compared to the earth Qi which is from the ground.
宅旺门旺，连发可决，
宅旺门衰，其法乃歇，
若见水光，救败亦捷，
水位宜哀，元机尽泄。

巷冲不吉，况在衰方，
急宜隔截，隔蔽不妨，
若受冲煞，人口必伤。

This paragraph refers to an urban situation where we need to observe
the lane, road and pathway together with the buildings. Observing the directions of
the Qi pathway to determine the effect on the
occupants. If inauspicious Qi is detected, an
obstruction in the form of a partition can divert the bad Qi.
平原旷野，四山远隔，
不怕风吹，只怕阴煞，
田垄水圳，切忌冲脉，
不拘方位，总归凶烈。

rules for such an environment. The most important is the reference to Yin Sha. For the fields the ridges and the drainages are to be check
for clashes against the vein.
Yin Sha - 阴煞
Vein - 脉
乃有峤星，高楼峻阁，
回风通气，随方反扑，
百步之内，毋执常说，
精求元运，知旺知煞。

山营之宅，四山皆近，
固要开阳，又分动静，
动则出头，静乃平顶，
回风通气，出头处认。
