I am using Yue De Gui Ren only.
The Wu horse together with the Yin and Xu from the natal chart will provide fire support to the Bing Yue De Gui Ren.
Basically saying even if other factors are not saying it is a good year but the powerful Gui Ren can make it a good year.
I am treating Yue De Gui Ren in this case as his fans.
Normally Kong Wang can be cured by combination.
Especially when it is a full San He.
With fire protruding in the HS.

For Gui Ren criteria like this Fire Ye De one, do we have to consider whether fire element is favorable or unfavorable?
What if Fire (Bing and Ding) is not favorable, could it still benefit to the chart to an extent?
Also, what if these is combination of the HS which is the Gui Ren, should we still consider that effect from Gui Ren remains?
Actually, I also feel curious the same, in case Gui Ren is derived from EB, such as Tian Yi one.

The most important aspect of Gui Ren is the power based on the 12 Qi phase.
The reason why many masters cannot get it right.
There are many masters who say Gui Ren must be favorable or not favorable which is not a correct method.
The other important factor is the boost by the EB combination.
For example for a Bing Fire Gui Ren when there is a Yin Wu Xu fire San He or a ban he, the power of the Gui Ren is boosted.
That is why a Gui Ren in a chart which seems to be quite useless suddenly becomes very powerful during certain Luck Period when there is a San He or Ban He combination.

Your question on combination.
A very good question.
Yue De combining with DM is IMHO a very auspicious matter. But again it must be a good/powerful Gui Ren. Not useful if the Gui Ren is in weak Qi phase.
Combination of the Gui Ren in the natal chart with LP or AP.
Is the Gui Ren still effective?
IMHO it losses its power but it is still there for a strong Gui Ren.
It also losses its 10 gods representation.
For Tian Yi Guir Ren, combination will also make it less effective.
