This is my 100 posts and I would like to show something quite interesting about the audience of this blog.

I notice quite a lot of Russian and Romanian readers.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome them.

I believe this is the work of Master Raymond Lo who seems to travel to a lot of such places teaching and spreading this knowledge.
Hopefully one day I will also be able to travel to such places to meet up with enthusiasts of this art.

Maybe to have excursions to search for the Dragon Xue and Water Mouth.

D.I.Y Feng Shui in 12 weeks. (Part 1)

What is D.I. Y Feng Shui?

If you do a google search, there are a few websites selling eBook teaching people how to do DIY Feng Shui.

There is no need to attend any expensive Feng Shui courses.

Just using a few observations of our natural world and with a bit of imagination, one will be able to Feng Shui your own home.

Just by using a few key words used in Feng Shui like Yin Yang, “Qi” which is energy, five elements and maybe Bagua, one will be able to transform your own home to a harmonious energy centre to revitalize your life.

However it is most important to have a very good imagination and probably after having a few sticks of weed.

We called ourselves the “Matrix” School of Feng Shui based on the movie “The Matrix” with Keanu Reeves as our grand master.

The original classic is written by “The Wachowski Brothers” called the 模型经Mo Xing Jing. I am still in the midst of translating the classics into English.

The theory.

Reality as perceived by most humans is actually a simulated reality called "the Matrix", created by sentient machines to subdue the human population, while their bodies' heat and electrical activity are used as an energy “Qi” source.

To enter this school, one must be able to locate the door which connects the telephone of the real world with this simulated reality.

To locate the Door, one must understand the theory of Yin Yang.

The first split after the Singular TaiJi World splits into two halves.

After the creation of the Simulated World which creates the Yin and Yang world.

Whether it is Yin or Yang depends on which side one is located.

For example if you are in the Simulated World, it is considered the Yang side.

HETU.

The first thing that one must locate to identify the location of this Door is to get access to HeTu, the River map.

The Hetu River Map provides the clue to which side of the River, the dragon horse is located.

Whether it is on the River East side or River West side.

It is important to catch one of this dragon horse to ride to the next destination to enter the door.

一生二兮二生三，三生万物是玄关。
One produce 2 and 2 produce 3, 3 producing everything is the entrance door.

LouShu.

The LouShu World which is also sometimes called the Late Heaven of the Simulated Reality World.

The picture of a sea-turtle coming up to breathe once every one hundred years.

This is the world of the LouShu, our Simulated Reality World.

Computer programmer "Neo" who lives in the Simulated Reality World learns this truth after attending some so-called Feng Shui courses and managed to find his way to the real world to join the rebellion to fight against the machines.

His Sifu told him about the Early Heaven’s World through the Early Heaven Bagua story.

The Early Heavens are ruled by Four War Lords. Namely from the Qian-Dui, Zhen-Li, Xun-Kan and Gen-Kun coalition. The Qian-Dui and Zhen-Li from the West and Xun-Kan and Kan-Gen from the East.

The clue to everything is from the formation of the Early Heaven Bagua.

天地定位，山泽通气，水火不相射，雷风相薄。

天地定位

After Heaven and Earth is fixed in position.

Meaning the formation of earth when earth is established in its position.

Mountains and marshes are connected.

The formation of mountains and marshes through volcanic eruptions.

水火不相射

The fire and water are not clashing each other.

The hot volcanos against the other parts which are slowing cooling where water are being collected.

雷风相薄

Thunder and wind both approach.

The world is slowly being shaped over the years by the winds, lightning and thunder through the turning of the earth.

Where is the dragon horse?

This is referring to the dinosaurs. The time before human existence.

The Early Heaven before Human’s arrival.

The Late Heaven Bagua.

What is Yue De Gui Ren?

It is based on the three combinations similar to San He Feng Shui.

The three combinations are:

Si You Chou for metal.

Yin Wu Xu for fire.

Hai Mao Wei for wood.

Shen Zi Chen for water.

The Ren water in this chart is a Yue De Gui Ren.
The Ren is in Prosperous Qi Phase, very powerful.

This Ren Day Master is born in Zi month. Ren is the Yue De Gui Ren for people born in the month of Zi. There is a Ren in the Month HS which is a Yue De Gui ren with a very powerful “Prosperous” Qi Phase making the Gui Ren super effective.

This is very similar to Justin Bieber and both their songs, singing and dancing are as ridiculous. But they are both superstar and have one of the biggest fan’s following in the world.

The year it happens:

Huge phenomenon and world-wide hit called "Gangnam Style": one billion views on YouTube, one milliard clicks on internet at the end of 2012 (more than three millions copies of the single sold in the US). Gangnam is the District of Seoul whhere he lived.

The Ren Yue De Gui Ren arrives supported by Chen which combines with the Zi to form Ban He to Water.

The month it happens:

On December 21, 2012, his music video for "Gangnam Style" exceeded 1 billion views on YouTube, becoming the first and currently only video to do so in the website's history.

Again the arrival of another Ren Yue De Gui Ren supported by Zi.

What is Yue De Gui Ren?

It is based on the three combinations similar to San He Feng Shui.

The three combinations are:

Si You Chou for metal.

Yin Wu Xu for fire.

Hai Mao Wei for wood.

Shen Zi Chen for water.

The Bing fire in this chart is a Yue De Gui Ren.
The Bing is in Chang Sheng Qi Phase, very powerful.

This Bing fire person is born in Yin month. Inside Yin there are Xu Eating God and InDirect Resource, making this chart a double structure with Eating God for performance and Resource for the fans.

The Bing fire is prosperous with strong root in Yin which is in Chang Sheng Qi phase. It is further supported by the two Xu which is the tomb for fire. Next tp the DM is another Bing which is in strong Qi Phase and also supported by Jia resource.
The Wu Eating God is also prosperous supported by the two Xu Earth and the strong Fire.
The Jia Resource is also prosperous, supported by the season of birth Yin month which is in Lin Guan Qi Phase.

For a chart with Eating God, it is considered very bad to meet InDirect Resource.

In this chart, the EG is protected from the IR due to the separation between the two, one in the Year and the other in the Hour. The IR is distracted from snatching the food from EG due to the Bing in the Month HS. The flow of energy would be IR producing the Bing fire.

The Eating God on the other side for the DM to release the energy. The powerful Eating God for his performance capabilities.

The most important thing which makes him so successful would be the powerful Yue De Gui Ren which is the Bing Fire in the Month Pillar.
Bing Fire being the friend element in 10 gods.

The fans are mostly the friend element, people of the same age group.

Learning Bazi - Paul Walker

I read a very interesting article about learning Bazi.

Quote” First off, the ‘confusion’ issue. It is very NORMAL to be confused after you have had your first exposure to BaZi. Typically this is an excited confusion as opposed to a depressed confusion. It’s an oh wow, so much information, oh wow…it’s like the dog that catches 50 different scents and doesn’t know which one to follow because they are all so interesting! So, confusion therefore is par for the course.

For those who have gone through a Mastery Academy BaZi module 1 - if you are confused, this is NORMAL. Keep on going. By Module 2, you won't know which way is the sky. But first there must be confusion for there to be clarity.

Secondly, the person in this question has discovered that thing called ‘Favourable and Unfavourable Elements’ and is now excited, thinking that there is some revolutionary piece of information in this revelation.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but knowing your Favourable and Unfavourable Elements is like knowing the first three alphabets of the entire series of alphabets. As such, the expectation that such information will somehow yield something exponentially revealing is a rather over-enthusiastic expectation.”

My own journey.

I grew up with Bazi. When I was born the Bazi Nun (The real BaziQueeen) in my home town wrote my Bazi along with the hundreds of babies born in Kuching.

Every year my mum would go back to the temple to get readings for the year. For the whole family. Growing up with the annual reading makes me believe that Bazi is really accurate. It is because of the person reading the chart. When she passed on, the sister took over and the readings became mediocre. When the sister passed on, the granddaughter took over and my mum has not been back since.

The original nun is good because she spends her time studying. She told my mum she spends every night studying using candle light. That is the sort of effort she made to study the art.

My first Bazi book was the one by Raymond Lo. I was so excited after reading the book that I started to read more. Mostly Chinese books which I can find. Then I started doing readings for myself and for other people. After a few years I gave up because the readings were all so wrong.

After a few years, I met a guy in my home town who was giving Bazi reading to people at night in a coffee shop. I went to the shop regularly to listen to what he has to say. I was quite impressed and got my interest back. He gave me a few books and one of them is by 胡一鳴  which is quite good. Explaining about the use of 12 Qi phase to determine the strength of the Day Master.

During that time, I was also reading a lot of Joey Yap’s book which just came to the market.

After learning from him for a year, I study with another master who I thought is the best there ever is. The material is mind boggling. Very very detail and with lots and lots of in depth explaination. The reading became a little bit better but still a lot of inconsistency. (meaning still not accurate)

I remember when I felt really confident; a friend brought a person to my house to do Bazi reading. I was so far from accurate it is embarrassing.

Thinking of giving up this art again as a result. Wondering where can I find the answer to this mind boggling system of life reading.

Along came another master who told me to start from scratch. So it was another year of learning. After that I was told by my master, there are still many levels which I will not be taught. I will have to search on my own.
Recently I heard there is a Bazi reader in Kuala Lumpur who can read like a god. Thinking of investigating this god like person to continue the learning process.

Inconsistency.

Whenever I read case studies by others I will try to see if there is some consistency in the theory that they employ.

Especially with regards to deriving strength and flow.

There are just too many case studies where the authors just switched whenever it suits them. I don’t think those authors will be able to give readings for cases where they do not know the person at all.

Paul Walker.

Someone asked me to do Paul Walker’s chart. I searched the internet for a time of birth but I was not able to find one.

However there are 3 websites doing analysis of Paul’s bazi based on different time of birth.

The first one saying it is a weak metal. With Xin born in You month with a Si You Chou in the EB. The reading is then based on a weak Xin. The reason of death being the Xin being drained by water. I would seriously doubt this is correct.

The 2^nd website tries to justify the chart as a weak metal by selecting a Jia Wu Hour Pillar.

The 3^rd website says it is a strong metal. He attributes the death to clashes of the travelling star.

What is your view?
It is difficult for me to imagine this chart as a weak DM even in my wildest imagination. With 2 Xin in the HS and a You Chou Ban He born in You month.

If this is weak I would have to throw out everything I have learned and start all over again.

When analyzing the death of a person, the life palace was not even considered.

Bazi is not as simple as it looks. Many tried to make some sense of this art. But it requires more than a few days in class. It will take the whole life time to figure out.

Who is Yue De Gui Ren?

It is based on the three combinations similar to San He Feng Shui.

It is based on the month pillar so for Yin or Wu or Xu month, the Yue De Gui Ren is Bing fire.

蓋日月照臨之宮，凡天曜地煞，盡可制服，故可回凶作吉。

When meeting disaster Sha, it is able to control and resolve the problems, returning to auspicious what could be disastrous.

凡人得之，一生安逸，不犯刑，不逢盜，縱遇凶禍，自然消散。

For a person with such a nobleman, the life will be peaceful, without committing any offences, without meeting any robbery; meeting disaster will naturally be resolved.

My own observation shows Yue De Gui ren to be most effective for businesses who has many clients such as restaurants, pubs, consultancy, etc.

Conditions for auspiciousness.

Are there any conditions for it to be auspicious or is it always auspicious?

For all She Sha it is important to know when it is actually a nobleman and when it is not very helpful and when it can actually be considered bad.

Probably should wait to find out in Annie Pecheva’s book on Shen Sha which is coming out soon.

There are several things to check.

First is the usefulness of the god itself.

Second is the strength.

Third will be the interactions such as combination, clash, punishment and so on.

Someone says why punishment when it is a HS?

Punishment involving the pillar.

Auspiciousness based on pillars.

Year Pillar.

Month Pillar.

Hour Pillar.

Having Yue De Gui Ren in the Hour and Month Pillar will be much more powerful or direct for the Day Master.

San He Feng Shui.

In San He Feng Shui the three elements are termed as having 3 different type of Qi phase.

One being in Chang Sheng, one being in Officer Qi Phase and one being in Tomb Qi phase.

Example for Fire Formation, Yin Wu Xu.

Yin is the Chang Sheng Qi phase for Yang Fire.

Wu is the Officer Qi Phase for Yang Fire.

Xu is the Tomb Qi Phase for Yang Fire.

Having Chang Sheng, Officer and Tomb have different properties.

Chang Sheng is for health and descendants.

Officer is for power.

Tomb is for wealth.

Would the same principle apply for Bazi?

Auspiciousness for Bazi based on the Qi phase.

Having the Tomb Qi phase seems to have the strongest power.

This is a personal opinion.

Could be due to the ever ready Ban He between the Tomb element with the other two Chang Sheng and Officer element.

What about Luck Period, Annual Period or Month Period?

Can the Gui Ren be activated?

IMHO, it can not only be activated but I have seen a lot of charts where the DM really becomes very successful as a result of meeting Yue De Gui Ren in the Luck Period.

But it must be with good Qi phase to start with and without any clash or punishment to the pillar.

Can this two be linked to activate the Gui Ren.

So called Shen Sha Feng Shui.

Due to the two being linked to the Qi of the four elements, by activating a Feng Shui formation which is harmonies with the Bazi of the person, it would be able to add to the quantity of the auspicious Qi.

My observation where a Yue De Gui Ren with very weak Qi phase having a very difficult life suddenly becoming very successful due to the activation of the Qi during a Luck Period through the EB interaction.

Application of this method.

First step: Identify the Month EB to match the formation. Even if the natal chart has no Yue De Gui Ren.

Second step: Align the Feng Shui of the house to match the formation making sure that it matches the surrounding environment such as the water mouth and the In-Coming dragon.

The best would be to match the Tomb Qi Phase Water mouth for wealth.

Fire, Water, Wood, Metal.

One Destiny.
Maybe they know something we don't.
Asking the fire people to live in the fire country. 
The water people to live in the water country.
The wood people to live in the wood country.
The metal people to live in the metal country.
