Hi Decha Woo, I am a student of Thomas who teaches the students how to use DHHS. The DHHS is treated as an active HS. Meaning there would be 8 active HS in a four pillars chart. I don't think it is a valid system after studying with other master. HS is always HS and EB is always EB. That should be the correct method. But the strength of the HHS being stronger if it is a DHHS could be considered. But it is to be only a minor consideration and not something as drastic as what is being taught. Being able to separate what is the HS and what is the usage of the EB is most important to be able to decode a chart. I see some people going through a chart for ages calculating all sorts of rubbish and yet coming out with nothing. No chart analysis. A good Bazi reader can read a chart very very quickly as long as the basic information are there. Having said that, the DHHS would be useful to know the strength of the root and that should be all.
I think I got your point. Acutally, I have still not been familiar even with the main elements of 4 HS and 4 EB, and their relationship and interaction. I should leave this aspect until I reach an advance level.
My curiosity just occured when I tried to plot charts of some people. However, results of DHHS seemed a little bit different from some of my records which I applied method in the webboard as reference. It's a pity that I did not make copy of that reference. I just took notes of the results.
Regarding my question, fortunately, I just found that the most updated topic in Trey's blog is exactly the reference I told you.
What a coincidence!
In the context, DHHS seems to be fixed based on exact date of months which seems different from some result derived from the calculator. Or my understanding about application of this method (Month Command?) is not that right?
Hi, DHHS is Dominat Hidden Heavenly Stem. Dont know in Chinese. HHS is the root of the EB. The Dominat HHS is when the root is in command. http://bazifenshui.blogspot.com/2013/09/heavenly-stem.html
i believe that this bazi calculator is incorrect (hour pillar and day pillar) despite that it probably calculates hour pillar correctly at some exact given dates
for example when hour goes forward in some examples the day pillar then at some point during that day switches backwards for 1 element to mother element (lets say from +Water to -Metal)...and so dose the hour pillar, at that point it switches to different values than it should be regarding to its previous sequence
Hi Borneo219,
ReplyDeleteMay I ask your opinion about the DHHS derived from the calculator?
Does it seem accurate to you?
I myself really have no idea while the reference in the late "5art webboard" has now gone.
Please help.
This is decha_woo.
