Jie Sha – Robbery Sha.

劫殺

When we see this particular Sha called “Robbery Sha”, it sounds pretty bad.

Is it considered an inauspicious Sha, god or demon.

Again similar to other Shen Sha, it can be good or bad, depending on the situation. One thing for sure this is a pretty fierce Sha. You can be sure he is not going to just sit there if there is a fight going on. An interesting factor is that with certain conditions, it can be very good at planning or to strategize an attack or defense plan. Put him on a horse he can most probably attack ferociously. With an Officer to drive a Jie Sha, it is possible to wield power and authority. Mixed the Jie Sha with a bunch of robbers and crooks, he will make hell on earth.

用神专寻月令，以四柱配之，必有成败。

The Yue Ling is used to search for the Yong Shen. Matching with the other pillars, will have success and failure.

何谓成？

When is it a success?

如官逢财印，又无刑冲破害，官格成也。

For Officer meeting Wealth and Resource, with no punishment, clash, destruction and harm, the chart is established.

财生官旺，或财逢食生而身强带比，或财格透印而位置妥贴，两不相克，财格成也。

Wealth birth prosperous Officer, or Wealth meeting birth by EG with prosperous self with BiJian. Or Wealth structure with Resource protruding, with no obstruction, both not ke/control, establish Wealth chart structure.

印轻逢煞，或官印双全，或身印两旺而用食伤泄气，或印多逢财而财透根轻，印格成也。

食神生财，或食带煞而无财，弃食就煞而透印，食格成也。

EG birth Wealth, or EG carrying 7K with no wealth, abandon EG utilizing 7K with Resource protruding, EG chart structure established.

身强七煞逢制，煞格成也。

Prosperous Self with 7K meeting control, establishing 7K chart structure.

伤官生财，或伤官佩印而伤官旺，印有根，或伤官旺、身主弱而透煞印，或伤官带煞而无财，伤官格成也。

Also for Direct Officer structure with Wealth and Resource, the Wealth and Resource not obstructing each other, the Officer structure is established.

刑冲破害，以冲为重，冲者，克也。

Punishment, clash, destruction and harm, clash is the heaviest, clash is also a form of ke/control.

如以木为官，则冲者必为金为伤官，故以冲为重。

For wood which represent Officer, the clashing party is metal as the HO. The clash is considered as heavy/serious.

刑破害须酌量衡之，非必尽破格也（参观格局高低篇胡汉民造）。

It is necessary to measure the severity of punishment, destruction, harm.  However these EB interaction will not necessary result in breaking a chart structure.

墓气从地，宅气从门，

门旺路吉，出入亨通，

财丁两盛，其乐融融，

门旺宅衰，亦不为凶。

Tomb Qi from the ground, house Qi from the door,

door prosperous road auspicious, going in and out prosperous and smooth,

Wealth and health both flourishing, with unbound happiness,

door prosperous house weak, considered not too inauspicious.

Comment:

House weak 宅衰 – the sitting/facing of the house and the way the earth Qi 墓气从地 affects the house. The key point here is regarding the importance of the door of the house which is the way the house receive the house Qi as compared to the earth Qi which is from the ground.

宅旺门旺，连发可决，

宅旺门衰，其法乃歇，

若见水光，救败亦捷，

水位宜哀，元机尽泄。

House prosperous door prosperous, join prosperous can adopt,

house prosperous door weak, this method is in rest,

If meeting bright water, assist the weak to be strong,

should the water position be weak, original opportunity is exhausted or changed.

Comment:

The key point here is the introduction of “water” and the way the water can affect the quality of the Feng Shui. The term bight water referring to water Qi which is positive.

人烟稠密，巷路宜详，

巷冲不吉，况在衰方，

急宜隔截，隔蔽不妨，

若受冲煞，人口必伤。

Densely populated, lane road or path detail study,

lane clash not auspicious, moreover at the weak position,

Quickly partition the segment, the partition to shield the harm,

if affected by clash sha, human will be harmed.

Comment:

This paragraph refers to an urban situation where we need to observe the lane, road and pathway together with the buildings.  Observing the directions of the Qi pathway to determine the effect on the occupants. If inauspicious Qi is detected, an obstruction in the form of a partition can divert the bad Qi.

平原旷野，四山远隔，

不怕风吹，只怕阴煞，

田垄水圳，切忌冲脉，

不拘方位，总归凶烈。

Plain field in the wilderness, 4 mountains far in the distance,

not worried about wind blowing, only scared of Yin sha.

The ridge between the fields and the drainages, to avoid clashing the veins,

whatever the directional position, will return back to inauspicious sha.

Comment:

This paragraph refers to a rural flat plain environment and the rules for such an environment. The most important is the reference to Yin Sha. For the fields the ridges and the drainages are to be check for clashes against the vein.

Yin Sha - 阴煞

Vein - 脉

乃有峤星，高楼峻阁，

回风通气，随方反扑，

百步之内，毋执常说，

精求元运，知旺知煞。

Therefore to have the highest star, multistory building high pavilion,

returning wind dissipating the Qi energy, complying with direction to counter the inauspiciousness,

Within a hundred paces, “no plan” always says,

diligently searching Yuan luck period, recognize prosperous recognize killing (sha).

Comment:

The first part described the relevance of the stars for high rise buildings.

The way the wind dissipate the Qi depends on the direction which can be of assistance/beneficial.

The importance of understanding the timeliness of the stars in relation to the time (Yuan) period. When timely, it is auspicious and when untimely it is considered a Sha (killing).

山营之宅，四山皆近，

固要开阳，又分动静，

动则出头，静乃平顶，

回风通气，出头处认。

Mountain camp houses, 4 mountains in close proximity,

will need open Yang, also need to determine the movement and quietness,

Movement will activate success, quiet will means stagnation,

returning wind dissipating the Qi energy, to recognize the success point.

Comment:

Referring to house located in the mountain in close proximity to mountain ranges. The theory on mountain is to be referred. To locate the dragon movement and non movement. To recognize the auspiciousness in relation to the wind which dissipates the Qi energy.

以上诸篇，务宜细研，

潜心究穷，先天后天，

道明理达，始是真缘，

可以无罪，可以为贤。

The above mentioned matters, the matter finely researched,

Single mindedly investigate until exhausted, the theory of early heaven and later heaven,

To attain the truth, is destiny,

possibly nothing, possibly worthy.

Comment:

The study of Feng Shui depends on a person’s destiny. Whether one is able to locate the real knowledge.

气，聚之使不散，需要采取蔽风措施；

Qi, when it gathers it does not disperse; it requires the help of wind to do so;

行之使有止，需要采取界水措施。

For the wind to stop when it is moving, it requires the help of water to do so;

即蔽风界水，就称为风水。

It is about observing Wind and Water, that’s why it is called Feng Shui.

山水配合

玄空妙诀，惟看雌雄，山与水对，阴与阳通;

The secret of Xuan Kong, although observing Ci Xiong through the interaction between mountain and water and the way the Yin Yang inter-connect;

九星流转，彼此相逢，

The continuous revolving movement of the nine stars, when the stars meet each other;

坎离交媾，一气浑融。

The interaction between Kan and Li, the way the Qi blends together and the resultant Qi which emerges.

The resultant Qi which emerges depends on the quality of the mountain and water (Luan Tau) as well as the revolving stars (Li Qi).
